I got to Transform Your World, not knowing what to expect, just trying to go in with an open mind. Going to Transform Your World this summer has completely changed my life. I am so happy I got the opportunity to spend every day with Catholics that desired their faith and wanted to learn more. I went to this camp almost by accident on my part. This was absolutely no accident on God's part. He had this whole week planned out for all the people and the place. Overall, my experience at camp was more than I ever could have anticipated. The extent to which I experienced the love and mercy of God, and the love of others was unlike any before. I have received so much healing from the powerful and awe-striking experiences with Christ, which have eased my transition back home into my regular daily life. Although I'm not completely healed of all my past hurt, I have been able to remind myself of the presence of Christ I felt at camp, and know that he has never left my side. The experiences this camp gave me, the stunning TRUTH of the talks, the holiness of the speakers, and the environment of love for Christ exuded by the students around me is something that I can't believe I almost missed. Because it did make a difference. After the camp I am such a different person it's startling to me. My prayer life has taken off, what with Liturgy of the Hours, much more Adoration, a deep understanding of Christ in the Eucharist during Mass, and the knowledge that prayer isn't a numeric account of quantity and quality of prayers offered - it's a relationship with God. As far as the willingness to talk about God among the non-Catholics I know, it's an amazing transformation...

Out of the abundance of knowledge I brought home with me from the camp, I believe the two most important things would have to be my Testimony and the overall idea of actually living out what we say we believe. We can't hide or cower in the face of an ever more immoral society. We have to be the change. During the camp I truly became aware of the gravity of prayer - the immense Joy that it brings which we can then share with any and all that will pay any attention to us. I've been blessed with the opportunity to give my Testimony to a group of my peers at my school, and have been given the chance to speak to larger groups on three other occasions, one being to a large group of my churches parishioners...
