At the beginning of the week, Chris Stewart and Tony Brandt told us that Transform Your World was like no other camp you would ever go to, and they were so right. This camp was an experience that I hope all young Catholics can encounter. In the 16 years that I have known of my faith, one week of Transform Your World made me change my view of how filling and beautiful our faith is. I left this camp with such amazement and love for my faith, and it’s an amazement that is not going to leave...

And not only were my eyes and mind opened with love for God during that week, but I gained a family. All of us campers, the councilors, speakers and directors formed a bond that I’ve never experienced before. The love and passion I felt for Christ once I left was not just for me. I needed to share it, and that was what TYW trained us for. I learned of the power and importance of prayer, and most importantly why we pray. I learned how to share and show that love for Christ to others, so that they too will learn to personally know and fall in love with God. I feel the urge to share what I am feeling to others because I can’t just keep it to myself. The talks were powerful and I gained so much knowledge in those few days. I met amazing new friends, all bonding from the same love we share for our faith. I learned things that I will never forget, and now have the DESIRE to spread God’s word. I get happy just talking about Transform Your World to other people. TYW will forever hold a place in my heart and may very well the best thing that has happened to me towards sparking my passion and love for being Catholic and having a relationship with God.  Could not thank you enough for this opportunity!!
